Tom C. Zemlja (ゼムリャ=C=トム, Zemurya = C = Tomu) is a mysterious creature resembling the Eye of Senri, tasked with collecting information on Mugenri along with NiLU.

General Information[edit]

Tom was first revealed in Len'en's 4th Anniversary, indicating their involvement in Book of the Cafe. It is unclear what species Tom is, although it is certain that they are a living being.[1]

Personality[edit]

Tom, despite being an eyeball, is shown to be rather talkative and oddly expressive. They may also be prone to mood changes.[1]

Background Information[edit]

Name[edit]

Their only known name is Tom C. Zemlja (ゼムリャ=C=トム). Zemlja, also romanised as "zemlya", "ziemlia" and "ziemia", is a word in several Slavic languages that means earth or land. What significance this bears to Tom is yet unknown. "Tom" is a term that can refer to male turkeys, making them possibly a bearer of the Bird's Name, although it is unknown if this was intentional. JynX has brought attention to the fact that their name is specifically written as "Tom=C=Zemlja" and not "Tom・C・Zemlja" nor "Tom_C_Zemlja", although its significance is yet unknown.

Design[edit]

Tom's main body bears resemblance to the Eye of Senri, with wings attached to the back of the sphere, two talons on the bottom along with a black and white tail. Their torso is larger than a baseball and weighs about the same as an apple, although JynX has also stated that this varies depending on the day and their mood. JynX pointed out that they resemble the Evil Eye Sigma from the Touhou Project.[1]

Appearances[edit]

Book of the Cafe

Tom is to make an appearance in Book of the Cafe, who along with NiLU, is tasked with collecting information on Mugenri while running a "café", although it is unclear who gave them the task. They are to be acting as a parter to NiLU.[1]

Relationships[edit]

NiLU

Tom and NiLU are partners on their mission to collect information on Mugenri, although any relationship beyond this is unclear.
