Regarding gender issues[edit source]
Hi Sakura :) I've been thinking, and I was hoping you could give your opinion as I like to later on implement this. We know that Len'en characters have got an ambiguous gender, and the English language is known to not have gender-neutral words that can refer to a genderless person (apart from 'them' that's not really good). However, there have been proposals on using gender-neutral words such as xe, xyr and xyrself. Even though they're not common usage, I think we ought to adopt them to the wiki to still keep the character's true gender unknown, without assuming they're female for convenience, since some such as Kurohebi look more towards being a male. What do you think? Any reply will be much appreciated, cheers :) ― Tony64 (Talk/Con.) 05:36, 20 May 2015 (UTC)
- I agree with that. the gender thing is confusing in Len'en and JynX's own explanations about it are ambiguous as well. By the way, I'm worried about the translations, they're piling up and BPoHC is coming soon.--SakuraMiya (talk) 17:35, 23 May 2015 (UTC)
- It's sorted then, I'll overtime add the usage of these words to the guidelines and go through the wiki to replace words such as 'she' and 'her'. As for translations, weren't there some translators on Touhou Wiki interested in Len'en? I don't know what they're doing nowadays, but they could come to this wiki to help with translations. If I knew Japanese other than its kana, I'd try and help with translation... That reminds me though, now that the wiki is coming together, I'll see if Touhou Wiki will add this wiki to their Interwiki table and finally remove the majority of Len'en content from Thwiki. ― Tony64 (Talk/Con.) 18:59, 23 May 2015 (UTC)

Title redundancy[edit source]
Hi Sakura :), I see why you think that adding "In <title>" would be redundant under each appearance section, but bare in mind that I'm not the only one doing this; many popular wikis do this as well. It's mainly like this so users can have a link to the game's page, while at the same time not having the headings linked. Sometimes they'll go like "This character appears as a boss/cameo/etc. in <title>". Hope that clears it :) ― Tony64 (Talk/Con.) 23:35, 14 June 2015 (UTC)
- I see. By the way, can you ask Necrotek to upload the images for the stages (in order to get quaility images for places such as the Shrine Road and the Gloomy Straits) and the endings of each game? --SakuraMiya (talk) 00:21, 15 June 2015 (UTC)
- Anyway, I just uploaded them as they are. I don't remember which image belongs to which endings so I count on you :) Last number, as you might guess, defines the character whose ending it belongs to, so the only problem is knowing which one are images of good ending and which are - bad ending.
- And about stage images - because stages are composed of images dynamically, it's not something that can be taken from game resources (well, I can provide images which are used but I guess it won't help :)) so not really sure how I can help. The best I can help is making mini-patches to hide characters/enemies/bullets etc. so nothing will interfere with taking screenshots Necrotek (talk) 04:42, 15 June 2015 (UTC)
