Stage 4 and Yabu's EX Stage Theme Translations[edit source]
The titles for the Stage 4 theme and Yabusame's Extra Stage theme has changed twice in a short amount of time. So I want to ask: What is the best translation for those two themes? ― Tony64 (Talk/Con.)
- Ah, to clarify, my edit was meant to fix the wording of the titles; a suggestion for what wording we could use if we decide to go with the new translations.
Anyway, I'm not really knowledgeable enough to provide help on this topic, sorry... All I can add here is that, according to the official music uploads, the pronounciation for the stage 4 theme's title is "i te yuru mu wa(ha) shi mi koo ru kokoro", and the pronounciation for the extra stage theme's title is "hou suu ten pon" (every kanji and hiragana are separated by a space, and the pronounciations of the kanji are italicized for clarity).Mona Lisa's Hands (talk) 23:59, 20 September 2018 (UTC)- When read as literally as possible, the S4 theme is "What Thaws is the Frozen Heart", yes. It's a fancy way of putting it in Japanese that reads kinda awkwardly in English (at least imo); if u wanna phrase it more naturally then "The Frozen Heart is What Has Thawed" ("What Now Thaws"?) works fine imo ( ..)/
- (--> the original "Thawing of the Frozen Heart" isn't half bad either btw, its just a question of how liberal you wanna be w/ the Exact Phrasing TM) Gilde (talk) 02:04, 24 September 2018 (UTC)
