Notes[edit | edit source]
- ↑ Tamriel is the main setting of the The Elder Scrolls series while Gensokyo is the main setting of the Touhou Project.
- ↑ Answers B, C and D are respectively from Fake Tsubakura Enraku's first line in Evanescent Existence, Suzumi Kuzu's first line in the same game and Yabusame Houlen's first line in Earthen Miraculous Sword.
- ↑ The question uses the old 鏈縁 kanji to write "Len'en", rather than the modern 連縁.
- ↑ This was revealed in the Len'en Wiki's 2017 Interview with JynX (Q132).
- ↑ According to Kanae, A happened on 11 November 2019, B on 4 April 2020, C on 3 April 2018 and D on 1 April 2018.
It should be noted that Rei was technically first introduced on 31 March 2018, but was officially introduced as a full character a day later. - ↑ Sese used "boku" once in Brilliant Pagoda or Haze Castle, in their pre-fight dialogue with the Shrine Team in the team's neutral scenario.
- ↑ While never explicitly stated, this can be inferred from Earthen Miraculous Sword's music room comments, which mention that Sukune's theme is "an arrangement of a song I [JynX] made a long time ago".
- ↑ According to Kanae's files, A was composed in 2011, B in December 2010, C in 2013 and D in 2015.
Additionally, the song was originally titled "Haniwa's Martyrdom" (埴輪の殉死 Haniwa no Junshi). In the title, "Junshi" (殉死) (translated as "martyrdom") means "following the lord in death", and refers to the practice of vassals committing ritual suicide after death of their lord. - ↑ Kanae explains that at the time, much of the two characters' were not yet clear, not even their names. They were initially based on the word "enjaku" (燕雀, lit. swallow sparrow), which refers to small birds.
He shares that the word comes from the quote "The small bird in its peace knows not of the large bird's ambitions" (燕雀安んぞ鴻鵠の志を知らんや), from the Chinese historical chronicle Records of the Grand Historian. - ↑ Kanae also shares an older name once considered for the series based on this: "Story of the Swallow and Sparrow" or "Story of the Little Birds" (燕雀物語 enjaku monogatari).
- ↑ Kanae explains that A was an early scrapped title for Brilliant Pagoda or Haze Castle, C was just taken from the in-universe organization of the same name and D was just a random title that they came up with an hour prior to the stream.
