Danmaku Beginner's Lesson (弾幕入門講座 danmaku nyuumon kouza) is an upcoming vertical-scrolling danmaku shoot 'em up game of the Len'en Project, still in development by Trick Nostalgie's sole member JynX.
Name[edit | edit source]
It is unclear if the name Danmaku Beginner's Lesson will be the name of the actual game, but was taken from Teaching Androids - Danmaku Beginner's Lesson Part.01, the video in which it was shown off.
Music[edit | edit source]
Despite the game being yet unreleased, at least two original songs are known to be featured in and associated with the game:
- Created Falsehood (造られた偽り Tsukurareta Itsuwari): Pre-battle theme in the video; Possibly Rei's theme, first featured in the video Next-generation Virtual Android is born!
- Imaginary Automaton ~ Learning chance! (空想自動人形 ~ Learning chance! kuusou jidou ningyou): Zelo's theme in the video.
Development[edit | edit source]
On 10 June 2018, JynX tweeted that they were testing a new shoot 'em up game UI, along with a screenshot of it being used in Brilliant Pagoda or Haze Castle. In the tweet, JynX mentioned that they were unsure whether the UI would be used for Len'en and that if it would they would alter it to not look so futuristic.[1] Nevertheless, it would later be seen as-is on 23 July 2018, in the video Teaching Androids - Danmaku Beginner's Lesson Part.01, which showed Rei as a playable main character and Zelo as a boss. There was never any major announcement that the game would actually be released someday, though it was mentioned twice on Twitter.[2][3]
