- Summary
- Kanae briefly talks about yesterday's Nintendo Direct.
- He already downloaded F-ZERO 99 and completed the tutorial, and so far found it rather interesting.
- He adds that he'd love to play the game with his viewers, and wonders when he should do it.
- He also adds that he wants to play Trombone Champ as well, which is going to be localised into Japanese alongside its Nintendo Switch port.
- He wants to stream both games and ultimately decided on the following schedule, shifting some of his original plans:
- Tomorrow (Sat 16/7): F-ZERO 99; Replacing the originally planned "Kanji de GO!"
- Monday (18/9): Trombone Champ
- Saturday (23/9): Kanji de GO!
- Kanae mentions that he'd be working on programming for Book of the Cafe today, and that once that is done, the September update can be released.
- He hopes to be able to finish it all within the day, but realistically expects it to be done by tomorrow instead, meaning that the update would likely come out the day after.
- Kanae mentions that he's going to the Tokyo Game Show next week.

- Summary
- Kanae announces that the September update to Book of the Cafe has been released.
- He highlights the Moon-viewing Gacha Machine [Dishes], and shows off the new dishes on his virtual table.
- He was asked if the Lumen Celeritas employee's sealing talismans being missing in their back view was intentional, to which he answered that it is not. Though considering that it doesn't affect gameplay, and that updating the game now would once again incur a hefty fee on him, he decides to fix it in a future major update.
- He announces that he's now going to shift to focusing on the 10th Len'en anniversary in earnest, and would likely not update the game in any major way for a while, explaining why this event's quests give a total of 30,000 ink gems, three month's worth.
- He mentions that Google Play recently changed some of their terms and conditions again, forcing him to spent quite a while updating the advertisement systems to satisfy them.
- He mentions that he's decided to leave overhauling the advertisement system, implementing in-app purchases and considering an iOS version of the game all for after the 10th anniversary.
- When asked when Hibaru Kokutenshi (the next character in terms of series appearance) would be added to the game, Kanae reiterates that it'd likely have to wait until after the anniversary, as adding a character does involve quite a lot of work.
- He elaborates on the process, saying that he for combat units, he starts with animating the character sprites, then programming in their spells, setting their stats, coding in their inherent trait and party skill, creating sound effects (if needed), setting a new gacha, drawing new gacha memory devices and tickets; he then moves onto doing much the same for the cafe employee. Finally, he has to also make a corresponding dish and implant equipment, as well as a fierce battle stage.
- When asked whether Gappori allows their employees to have a secondary job (considering that Hibaru Kokutenshi would be the next added character), he answers that it'd probably be fine, considering the setting of the game, though quickly cut himself off before elaborating, in fear of spoilers.
- Kanae was asked if the animation of the spell cards opening up when used in the STG games had any special meaning, to which he answered that while it technically does, it looking cool was the most important factor to him.
- On a whim, Kanae decided to play Tetris 99 on stream, though quickly realised that his Switch capture card is having some issues with audio, seemingly due to a faulty soundboard.
- Kanae decides on the coming week's schedule.
